My Story
Hi, I’m McKenzie, the founder of Morey Fitness.
Movement hasn’t always felt empowering for me. I grew up as a dancer in an environment where mirrors often encouraged critique instead of trust. Pilates changed that. It helped me reconnect with my body through strength, control, and presence, shifting my focus away from appearance and toward how my body moves and feels.
With years of teaching group fitness, I have seen firsthand how intentional movement can build not only physical strength, but also mental resilience and confidence. That philosophy is the foundation of Morey Fitness. My mission is simple: movement over mirrors. I believe movement should build confidence rather than comparison, and strength rather than shame.
My classes are designed to be challenging, empowering, and accessible, meeting you where you are both physically and mentally. I emphasize form, control, and body awareness while encouraging a healthier relationship with movement.
Whether you step onto the mat to feel stronger, calmer, or more connected to yourself, my goal is for you to leave feeling grounded, capable, and proud of what your body can do. Morey Fitness is more than a workout. It is a space to move with purpose, build confidence, and carry that strength with you beyond the mat.
